Fabulous app

This is absolutely the best app for amateur astronomers it just keeps getting better and better

So awesome, best star chart Ive ever used

Version 5 of the already amazing sky safari plus takes star gazing to a whole new level. I can share my interest in astronomy with my kids, show them constellations, planets, galaxies everything! Love this app.

Great New Version

This is a great new version of Sky Safari with familiar interfaces and nice new features. That being said, I would love to see a Hertzsprung-Russell diagram included in the resources available within the app. Thanks for a great update!

The. Best. Period.

Great program. Equipment list, including cameras and CCDs, makes planning imaging sessions so easy.

Amazing app!

They thought of everything when they wrote this app. Its great for beginners because its intuitive and you can start using it right away. Advanced astronomers will not be disappointed because there are so many areas covered. I love the fact that you can run your Celestron telescope wirelessly from the program and get a wealth of information about sky objects at the same time. In one sentence: Job well done!

The Best Sky app

I have downloaded a number of versions of this including an older version of 4. 5+ is the ultimate star gazing tool for astronomers. I found out about it on Cloudy Nights. This app is fully packed with lots of features. If you find objects by electronics or star hopping this is an incredible tool. Easy adjustment of features. One of my favorite features is having my finder and finder 25mm eyepiece configured showing on the page. If your finder is aligned to your eyepiece youll find objects more easily if they can be viewed in your skies. Lots of excellent background info on stars and objects. I dont use my paper Atlas. This app does it all. Be sure to buy the plus for realistic eyepiece views. The Wild Duck Cluster looks the same in my eyepiece as the app. If you own an IPad it works great in landscape view. Great app for naked eye, binoculars, and telescope!!!

Out of the park!

Hit the ground running fast with this app. I had the older 2.xx version that was stellar. This one, however, supernovas it. Excellent controls, massive database that fits MY criteria without being overwhelmed with data. Well thought out scientific but touched with layperson information on the celestial objects exceeds any top of the line

Excellent

Im new at astronomy and have put 99% of my time into building 3 astronomy cameras and have some decent photos and SkySafari has been my guide to the stars and to understanding more about astronomy. Its pretty hard to track the moon, planet and stars and this app is my sole guide for now, the clock is especially important to plan the camera position and understand the orbits. For now I am probably using 33% of the total app and certainly will want to use any feature that can be used to drive the camera tracker motors.

CD43

Awesome and beautiful! Highly recommended it for all lovers of astronomy; a must have app for those who love science and the wonders of our Universe.

Epic App

Ive worked with many other Astronomy applications, and I mean work, this app makes the hobby worthwhile. With the ease of use, I can now do even more things with my time under the stars, for example, sleep. Kudos to the application team, you 3rd rock!

The Best, get it now!!

Ive been using Voyager4.5 software in the computer for years now, I thought that was the best planetarium software. Sky safari plus is much better, it has more features and is more accurate. Example, the orientation of Jupiter and the Great Red Spot is wrong on Voyager, but exactly correct on Skysafari, the position of the ISS is way off on Voyager also, but correct on Skysafari. Not to mention the annoying need to constantly input your observing location on Voyager, while Skysafari uses gps automatically. If you want the best, get Skysafari.
